This season it rained a lot at 34 Raceway, but even with all the wet weather we still managed to pull off another top ten finish this year.
    We bought a 2002 Maxim chassis and it made a world of difference. We were trying different set ups and driving lines and some of them even worked.

   We would not have been able to finish this season without the help of some very important people.

    F irst of all, without Patrick Moore on our side, we would never have gotten very far at all. Patrick is our set up information guru, getting the #79 Sprinter around the track as quickly as I can go at this point in my career. I think I learned the most when I was able to get in behind Patrick and follow his line around the track, or at least that's when I passed the most people. I can't wait till I manage to pass Patrick.

   Dave Ferrell took time off of work to help rebuild my motor after it overheated. Dave has been my source for awesome power all the way back to my karting days. It was Ferrell Power that led me to my championships in the Karting world, and it will be my power for success in the years of Sprint Car racing to come.

   Dick and Liz Lothridge helped with the program all season. Dick worked as a set up and maintenance man on the car and Liz prepared a place weekly for us to sleep so we could save money on hotel bills.

   Jim and Joyce Hetrick were also kind enough on the occasion of a rain out to let us stay with them so that we could race the rain date two days later. Jim was also instrumental in the field of fuel injection set up, guiding us through rapidly changing weather fronts in an effort to make as much power as possible.

   We also tried out some new tracks this year. We went to Peoria Illinois this July and raced against the Sprint Invaders and I have decided that I love little tracks. I passed two people at once going down the front straightaway. I was also the second highest finishing 305.

   Without the family of racers that are there to lend a helping hand it would be impossible for any race team to find success, and those listed above are but a few of those racers who have really helped us find speed.
